Our Approach
At Carla Irwin Inc. (Cii), we bring a collaborative approach to every project and client. It all starts with listening. We aim to understand your unique business goals and challenges so we can best excavate your needs, help you align practices with regulations, achieve consistency across reports and efforts, and leverage your nondiscrimination programs for organizational change. Our reviews and customized solutions span the gamut from AAPs and audits to EEO and state reporting and training. With your unique needs in mind, we’ll work with your staff to map out plans, collect and validate data, prepare reports and narratives, and ensure stakeholders are informed and educated.
Processes
We’ll review all the elements of your business impacting, or impacted by, affirmative action programs and EEO compliance. From your organizational structure to systems and processes and employment practices, we leave no stone unturned. We work with your team to structure plans that best advantage your organization. Collecting data, validating data, and conducting statistical analysis are essential steps in the process that ensure you are working with accurate information and are well situated to show consistency across EEO and AA reports.
Support
The regulatory landscape is always in flux, so we’re here to help you keep up. While AAPs are living documents that evolve with your business and the regulatory environment, EEO and other reports are constantly changing. We stay up to speed on new requirements, providing ongoing support so your plans stay updated and your reports remain timely. Our expert support gives you peace of mind and gives your team more time and space to focus on strategy.
Training & Knowledge Sharing
We work collaboratively with your AA/EEO resource team to share and transfer knowledge. Even if your AAP wasn’t developed by our team, we’ll provide feedback on what your reports mean and flag potential inconsistencies. Engaging in meaningful listening, learning, and sharing provides for deeper understanding of affirmative action and EEO regulations and principles.
