Affirmative Action Services
Affirmative Action Plans
Robust, detailed, and results-oriented Affirmative Action Plans (AAPs) serve your organization’s goals and systems while withstanding the scrutiny of the OFCCP. At Carla Irwin Inc., we can help your organization get and stay compliant. We work with clients to craft and customize holistic plans that fulfill all OFCCP requirements while propelling organizations forward.
OFCCP Contractor Portal – Annual Certification
Having a good plan is a start. But once a year, your organization must also certify that AAPs have been successfully completed. Our team at Carla Irwin Inc. makes certification easy. We support our clients with the annual certification processes by walking them through the OFCCP system, partnering to assure each aspect of their plan and its processes in order to ensure every t is crossed and every i dotted.
OFCCP Audit Support
Scheduling letters from the OFCCP can be stressful, granting you a mere 30 days to respond by turning in your AAP. Our comprehensive OFCCP audit support guides you through the audit process. One-size-fits-all solutions are too often inoperable, so we work to understand your organization, ensuring we have the necessary knowledge to advocate for you. From the moment you receive a letter, to the presentation of a well-thought-out APP that positions your organization in the best light, through closure, we’re here to help.
They say today’s preparation determines tomorrow’s achievement, so for organizations who want to ensure they’re ready to respond to a rigorous OFCCP audit, we can meticulously review your plan and its implementation, excavate potential problems and oversights, and offer a clear understanding of how risks might be effectively addressed. Once our mock audit is complete, we deliver a punch list detailing potential problems and solutions. With our help, proactive clients are ready to meet the challenges of an audit with preparation and confidence.
State and municipal AA requirements often differ from federal requirements. In some cases, they’re even more complex, opaque, and intimidating. If you need help decoding local regulations to ensure compliance with city and state contracts, we will work with you to craft and execute forward-looking state AAPs.
Affirmative Action Training
To implement a successful affirmative action program, having internal knowledge and buy-in is key. At Carla Irwin Inc., we create custom training modules that adapt to different environments, from the classroom to Zoom. Our training meets learners where they’re at with checklists, resource guides, and more. Whether your team needs Affirmative Action 101 for HR or Supervisors, leadership presentations, or training aimed at furthering an understanding of data clean-up or AAP reports, our team is ready to boost your knowledge.
EEO-1 & VETS-4212 Reports
EEO-1 and VETS-4212 reports can be confusing, but many organizations must file them annually to remain compliant. The EEO-1 Report is required of all employers with 100 or more employees and federal contractor/first-tier subcontractors with 50 or more employees and $50,000 or more in contracts. VETS-4212 reports are required of federal contractors and subcontractors with a contract of $150,000 or more regardless of the number of employees. If you fall into one of these buckets, we can help you manage the challenge. We file reports on our clients’ behalf, ensuring they’re consistent with the organization’s APP and that all data is present and accurate. In addition to cleaning your data, we’ll validate it, assign proper codes, format the report, and upload it. All you need to do is certify the results.
State Equal Pay Reporting
Illinois and California require pay reporting, compelling organizations to provide additional reports related to pay equity, a requirement not limited to federal contractors. Our team at Carla Irwin Inc. can help with your compensation related reports. We’ll work with key stakeholders in your organization to clean and validate your data, assign the proper codes, format your report for the FCCP, and even upload it.
